Disco Doom's music is left open for interpretation, the meaning behind their songs exists in a constant state of flux. The Zurich based quartet create with an abstract mentality, pushing art in ways that feel exciting and unnatural. They’ve developed a sound with one foot in experimental expanse and the other in fuzzy melodies, the juxtaposition offering music that’s both catchy and brilliantly undefinable. There’s a palpable feel to their recordings, the warm analog production ingrained in the band’s soft focus tonality.
After two decades together, Disco Doom are creating without guidelines, and they’re creating some of the most rewarding music of their career.
With "Tuesday Comet" Disco Doom return with a brand new two song single that captures both the beauty of their meditative psych and the chaos of the band’s infectious fuzz pop tendencies.
